Log Viewer
The QuotaGuard Log Viewer is accessible from your QuotaGuard Dashboard under the Logs section.
It shows a real-time and historical view of your recent proxy requests, including:
- Timestamp — When the request was made
- Method and URL — What was requested
- Response code — Whether the request succeeded
- Bytes transferred — Useful for SOCKS bandwidth tracking
Using the Log Viewer
- Log into your QuotaGuard Dashboard
- Click Logs in the top navigation
- Select the subscription you want to inspect from the dropdown
Logs are retained for a rolling window. If you need longer retention or more granular data, see What Analytics are Available? and What if I Need More Detailed Static IP Logging?
Troubleshooting with Logs
If requests aren’t reaching their destination, check:
- Is traffic appearing in the log at all? If not, the proxy isn’t being used.
- Is the response code a 407? See QuotaGuard Error 407 for authentication issues.
- Are you seeing unexpected IP addresses? Your proxy credentials may be misconfigured.
