Enable/Disable 2FA

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of protection beyond passwords. Here’s how to enable or disable it.

Note: 2FA applies to accounts that sign in to the dashboard with an email and password. If you access your dashboard through your platform’s single sign-on, your login is secured by that platform instead, and the Two-Factor Authentication section will not appear on your Account Management page.

Enabling 2FA

Follow these steps to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your account:

  1. Navigate to the Account Management page.
  2. Under the “Two-Factor Authentication” heading, click “Enable 2FA”.
  3. Scan the provided QR code or enter the OTP provisioning information into your Authenticator app.
  4. Enter the OTP code generated by your Authenticator app into the text field and click “Enable 2FA”.
  5. Securely save the provided backup codes.
  6. Click “Close”. You have now enabled 2FA for your account.
