Enable/Disable 2FA

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of protection beyond passwords. Here’s how to enable or disable it.
Note: 2FA applies to accounts that sign in to the dashboard with an email and password. If you access your dashboard through your platform’s single sign-on, your login is secured by that platform instead, and the Two-Factor Authentication section will not appear on your Account Management page.
Enabling 2FA
Follow these steps to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your account:
- Navigate to the Account Management page.
- Under the “Two-Factor Authentication” heading, click “Enable 2FA”.
- Scan the provided QR code or enter the OTP provisioning information into your Authenticator app.
- Enter the OTP code generated by your Authenticator app into the text field and click “Enable 2FA”.
- Securely save the provided backup codes.
- Click “Close”. You have now enabled 2FA for your account.
Disabling 2FA
Follow these steps to disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your account:
- Navigate to the Account Management page.
- Under the “Two-Factor Authentication” heading, click “Disable 2FA”.
- Enter the OTP code generated by your Authenticator app into the text field and click “Disable 2FA”.
